Babes Ride Out x Central Coast Suggested Day Routes

With Babes Ride Out Central Coast 10 coming up quickly, we wanted to share our favorite routes from camp to explore on Saturday! These routes are self guided so feel fee to download the maps now or grab one from the route map booth next to merch. The good news is, you can't go wrong in any direction you head from camp. This section of California is known for its beautiful sweeping roads and views like no other. Enjoy every mile!

JALAMA MAMA

Take your boots off in the sand at Jalama Beach. This route is our longest route and takes to the gorgeous and iconic beachfront of the Pacific Ocean. Stop at Firestone Walker Brewery for lunch on your way back for a bonus.

SKY TO SEE (ADVANCED RIDE x VERY TECHNICAL)

Looking for some twists and turns? This route will take you up to get a view overlooking Santa Barbara and the beautiful coastline. Stop at any of the beautiful look out spots or Gibraltar Rock for a photo opportunity. Wind down to the beach and check out Stearns Wharf for lunch!

OH HI HELLO

Cruise south on the western most highway then back up in the hills to Ojai. Ojai itself is the cutest little town and super fun to explore. Lunch at Deer Lodge is a must. Positioned right off the oh-so-fun hwy 33, the Deer Lodge is moto destination! Add a little bonus lap a bit further up hwy 33 if you are really looking for some sweepers. You’ll head back to camp the same way you came so super easy to navigate.

VIKING VOYAGE

There is so much to see so close by. Solvang is just a short jaunt from camp and is the Danish capitol of America (CUTE!) + stop by the Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum while you’re there.  Keep cruising up hwy 246 to Ostrichland USA and feed the Ostriches. THEY ARE HUNGRY! Keep on cruisin’ to Goleta Beach Park and take a dip to cool down.

TAVERNS AND CAVES

Head up the winding back roads off the San Marcos Pass and find yourself at Chumash Painted Caves. This is one of the best preserves rock art sites of the Chumash people and definitely worth exploring. Grab lunch at the iconic Cold Springs Tavern. They’ve got the best Tri-Tip Sandwiches around. This is a Central Coast Staple!

LEFT COAST BOOGIE

Go for a cool ride along the coast. It’s not every day you get to take in the views of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Stop at Goleta Beach Park and take dip. Head to State St. Downtown Santa Barbara and grab some lunch and explore.

Looking for ladies to link up with to ride? Best way to do so is either post on our Facebook page or mingle about camp and meet hundreds of other riders who all came there because of their love for two wheels.
